If you know anything about this please let me know. I've heard that GPS is illegal in some countries as it is still seen by many as high tech military gear. Is it illegal in Morocco?

Walkie talkies -- I heard these are illegal in some countries because they could interfere with police and rescue radios etc. What about in Morocco?

I'm not really planning anything with any of these but would like to know anyway as I was going around some travel sights and read about it I started to wonder.

Each country sells equipment that is legal in their nation. What they are selling there is what is legal in their nation. They may NOT be using the same frequencies that are used in the USA. Many radio look similar to those legal in the USA.

Sorry... I couldn't find specifics on their regulations.

Both are legal, for the GPS my friend is working with meditel and they gave him one, i saw him using it many many times with no problems.

As far as the walkies talkies, they were banned in the past for the reasons you mentioned but not anymore, what's banned are the police scanners, some of the motorola talkies were in display in marjane.
